Social Media & Creativity Network (SMCN) is a project temporarily placed as the ‘external interface’ of Creative Cuppa.  This is a project aims to bring together all interested groups (techics, politics, business, etc.) and people around the world to share resources and exchange ideas relating to the use of ’social media’, and to explore the webX.0-related creativity through the global networked collaboration. Research Training Innovation Fund (RTIF) Creative Cuppa has been awarded a £2000 grant by RTIF (Roberts Funding) through the University of Leicester Graduate Office. This will serve as an operating budget, under the supervision of the Department of Media and Communication and overseen by Dr. Gillian Youngs and Mr. Jin Shang. (For more details)
    
Social Media Classroom (SMC) is a free and open-source web service that provides teachers and learners with an integrated set of social media, including integrated forum, blog, comment, wiki, chat, social bookmarking, RSS, microblogging, widgets , and video commenting are the first set of tools.
